Ghana target Tariq Lamptey earns high rating in Brighton's draw against Liverpool

Second half substitute Tariq Lamptey scored high ratings in Brighton's comeback draw against Liverpool at Anfield on Saturday, October 30, 2021.

The wing-back who replaced Jakub Moder in the 66th minute impressed down the right flank and did enough to earn him a 7.86 rating, according to the BBC player rater.

Brighton were down by two goal before the 25th minute after Jordan Henderson and Sadio Mane had scored to give the Reds a deserving lead.

However, just before half time Zambian midfielder Enock Mwepu pulled one back before Leandro Trossard leveled with 25 minutes left.

Lamptey returned from a lengthy injury few weeks ago and has now made back-to-back appearances against Manchester City and Liverpool.

The Black Stars target will have to fight for his starting position despite showing glimpses of quality.
