Ghana will know their opponents for the play-offs of the 2022 World Cup qualifiers next month.

The draw will be conducted in December to determine the five fixtures for March. The winners of each fixture will advance to the tournament in Qatar.

Black Stars secured their spot on Sunday night and will be involved in the draw.

Andre Ayew scored the only goal as Ghana beat South Africa and finished winners of Group G.

Needing a win to qualify, Ghana were awarded a penalty in the 33rd after Leicester City defender Daniel Amartey was impeded in the box.

Captain Ayew didn't panic and scored expertly to secure victory for the Black Stars and send them through.

Ghana became the sixth country to qualify, joining Egypt, Senegal, Mali, DR Congo and Morocco.
