GHANASoccernet.com understands, the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations will cost Ghana's state broadcaster US$ 1.25 million.

With just a day to the start of the tournament in Equatorial Guinea, Ghana TV is set to confirm they have secured the rights.

Last month, Sports Minister Mahama Ayariga confirmed government was looking at bailing out the state broadcaster to acquire the TV.

If Ghana Television fails to raise the amount, it would mean Ghanaians can only watch the AFCON on pay TV.

The Black Stars are in action on Monday against Senegal at the Mongomo Stadium.
