Ghana U-20 coach Orlando Wellington is looking to draw positives from the planned friendly game with Benin.

The game which will take place at the Tema Sports Stadium on July 30 forms part of the Black Satellites’ preparations for their opening African Youth Championship qualifier against Uganda.

And Wellington who got a second chance with the side after failing miserably in the last year’s championship in South Africa is looking to reap the maximum dividends from this game.

“We have accepted a friendly from Benin who will be on a West African tour,” he told Accra-based Asempa FM.

“We think it will be very good for us as we prepare for our U-20 qualifier.

“We hope to be ready by two weeks time for our first game against Uganda.”
