Ghana’s Womens U-20 team posted a 3-0 win over South Africa on Saturday to advance in the 2012 World Cup qualification series.

Goals from captain Priscilla Saahene, Jane Ayieam and Elizabeth Addo proved enough for the Black Princesses in the second leg win played in a virtually empty Accra Sports Stadium.

Ghana thus make it through to the ultimate stage of the qualification series on a 5-0 aggregate after the first leg finished 2-0 a fortnight ago in Daveyton.

The Black Princesses will meet either Tunisia or Kenya in the final home-and-away qualifying tie to fight for one of two African slots for the World Cup to be hosted in Japan in September.

If successful, the Black Princesses will be playing at the second finals after their maiden participation two years ago in Germany.
