Ghana U17 coach Paa Kwesi Fabin has revealed his goalkeeper Danladi Ibrahim was affected by trolls on social media about his age.

The 14-year-old Asante Kotoko player was mocked through out the tournament for his rather mature looks.

His age became a butt of jokes and it took the technical team a lot to psyche him up.

This is said to have affected his performance as the Black Starlets got eliminated at the quarter-final stage losing 2-1 to African champions Mali.

''Claims by Ghanaians that my goalkeeper [Danlad] was more than 14 years really affected him. I had to psyche him up. I believe that’s why he conceded that second goal against Mali,'' Fabin told Nhyira FM.
