Ghana U17 coach Paa Kwesi Fabin says the current select band of players in camp have passed CAF’s mandatory age-cheating tests ahead of their African U17 Championship final qualifier.

Twenty-four (24) players are in camp and the number will be pruned before facing either Cameroon or Burkina Faso in September.

Fabin has revealed the entire squad passed the MRI scan to authenticate their ages.

It will be recalled that 12 players failed the age test in the build up to the 2013 African U17 championship qualifiers.

“All 24 players passed the MRI scans and we are preparing for the qualifier,” Fabin told Accra-based UTV.

“With the squad I have, I am quite sure we will make a strong impression in the African Championship next year.”

Ghana have not kicked a ball in this year’s qualifiers after opponents Kenya and Sudan Sudan pulled out.
