Ghana U20 coach refusing to panic after Benin draw

Ghana Under-20 coach Orlando Wellington says there is no need to panic after his side's unimpressive 0-0 draw with Benin in a friendly.

Wellington is racing against time to build a formidable team capable to face Uganda later this month in a 2013 African Youth Championship qualifier.

The Black Satellites have struggled to impress in recently outings after failing to progress from the Group stage at an eight-nation tournament in South Africa in May.

Even before that, they were beaten 3-0 by the national Under-17 team in a May 9 commemoration match.

"I don't think I have a problem. It is all part of my preparations," Wellington said.

"I am hoping the best crop of players for the crucial match in Kampala so we are trying to get the team in shape."

Ghana will play Egypt next month in another friendly match this month.
