Sellas Tetteh could be named next Ismaili coach

Ghana U20 coach Sellas Tetteh is on the verge of joining Egyptian Premier League side Ismaili as new head coach, GHANAsoccernet.com can authoritatively confirm.

Ismaili have allowed their trainer Shawki Gharib to take over as the Egyptian national team head coach and are in the hunt for a new coach.

Ismaili officials have followed the exploits the former Liberty Professionals who has also coach Rwanda's national team in the past.

The former Black Stars coach has also confirmed he has been approached by the Egyptians.

Tetteh is popular in Egypt after guiding Ghana's U20 side to become the first African country to win the FIFA U20 World Cup title in 2009 in Egypt.
