Ghana U20 defender Nana Kwame Boakye joins Moldovan giants Sheriff Tiraspol

Black Satellites defender, Nana Kwame Boakye has joined Sheriff Tiraspol in the Moldovan topflight league. 

The youngster signed his first professional contract with the club and he is expected to make his debut today in the Europa League qualifier against Zira FC.

Boakye has been training with the club for the past few weeks, impressing the club's technical team.

"Ghanaian defender Nana Kwame Boakye has become a full-fledged player of FC Sheriff. Kwame may make his debut for the team in today's match. The FC Sheriff team is glad to welcome Kwame and wishes him good lick in the jersey of our club," wrote the club, announcing the defender's arrival.

Boakye has played six times for Ghana's U20 team, the Black Satellites.
