Ghana's Under-20 team wrapped up preparations for this month's African title defence with a 2-0 win over second-tier Oserian FC on Tuesday in Naivasha.

Genoa striker Richmond Boakye-Yiadom opened the scoring in the first half and Sweden-based Kwame Amponsah Karikari added the second.

The Black Satellites have been preparing in Naivasha for the last eight days for the African Youth Championship which runs from 17 April to 1 May.

The team checked in at the Hilton Hotel in Nairobi on Wednesday morning and are expected in Johannesburg on Thursday.

Ghana begin their campaign against Nigeria on 18 April before playing Cameroon and Gambia in Group B.

A semi-final place will secure a qualification ticket to defend their Fifa World Youth Championship in Colombia.
