Ghana U20 head coach Abdul Karim Zito retained as Ghana FA reshuffles technical staff of national teams

Ghana U20 head coach Abdul Karim Zito has been retained at his position following a reshuffle of the technical teams of the various national teams by the Ghana FA.

The former Asante Kotoko and Ghana international been rewarded for his hard work after leading Ghana to two major titles during the first year of his tenure as coach of the U20 team.

Zito led the Black Satellites to lift the 2020 WAFU Zone B Nations Cup title in Benin in December 2020.

And also the 2021 Africa U-20 Cup of Nations in Mauritania in February 2021.

Zito has previously coached the Ghana U17 and U23 national teams before this current one.

Meanwhile, Hearts of Oak trainer Samuel Boadu has been appointed as assistant coach replacing Augustine Evans Adotey.

Boadu has been moved from the head of the national U15 team to the U20.

Salifu Fatawu will also work as an assistant coach.
