Ghana U20 star Patrick Twumasi eyes goal king crown in Latvia

Ghana youth international Patrick Twumasi has set sights on winning to topscorer award in the Latvian top-flight. 

The 18-year-old joined Spartaks from Ghanaian second-tier side DC United on a five-year-deal after impressing on trial.

Twumasi led the scorers chart after seven league matches with five goals.

He has got catch up to play as the leading scorer Mamuka Ghonghadze has eight goals in ten matches.

"Twumasi has settled well in Latvia and that could be a perfect place for his development. He's one for the future," his local agent told MTNFootball.com

Twumasi missed the last three league matches after returning to Accra to renew his visa.

Spartaks are second on the Latvian Virsliga table with two points behind leaders Daugava Daugavpils.
