Ghana’s U20 side the Black Satellites will play Ethiopia in the second leg of the 2017 Afcon qualifier at 12:00 today.

Torrential rains in the Central Regional capital of Cape Coast forced the postponement of the game as the pitch was soaked with water.

Match officials saw the soggy nature of the pitch was not in shape for the match compelling them to rain off the game.

Ghana had lost the first leg by 2-1 away in Adis Ababa and were hoping to overturn the score line in the Sunday clash to move to the next stage of the competition.

The 2009 World Champions are chasing a ticket to the 2017 U20 Afcon in Zambia and a win over Ethiopia may secure them that.
