Ghana U20 to play Nigeria tonight in SA tournament

Ghana will play Nigeria tonight in their Cape Town Under-20 International Challenge opener in South Africa.

The Black Satellites have been training at the Athlone Stadium since their arrival on Tuesday.

Head coach Orlando Wellington will name a formidable starting line-up including New Edubiase United duo Mumuni Abubakar and Moro Ibrahim.

Impressive left-back Baba Rahman will start likewise Richmond Nketia and Lawrence Lartey in defence.

Heart of Lions Benjamin Fadi and Abdul Basit Adam of New Edubiase are likely to lead the attack.

Meanwhile, Nigeria coach John Obuh has named a strong starting line-up for the match.

Enyimba goalkeeper Samuel Okani will captain the Flying Eagles.

Kano Pillars promising midfielder Shehu Abdullahi will be part of a formidable starting midfield that also has Enyimba pair of Nzube Anaezemba and Uche Agbo as well as the bulky Kwara United work horse Ugonna Ezenwaka.

Enugu Rangers centre-forward Alhaji Gero alongside Wikki Tourist lively forward Aminu Umar will lead the attack.

The match will be played at 8.30 pm local time (6.30 pm Ghana time).
