New signing Yaw Yeboah will wear the number 40 jersey at Polish side Wisla Kraków, the club have announced.

The Ghana U23 captain joined the Reds on a three-year contract on Tuesday after leaving Manchester City.

The 22-year-old spent last term on loan at La Liga side Celta Vigo from Segunda Division outfit Numancia last season.

He scored five goals in 20 matches for Celta Vigo B last season.

Yeboah has previously featured for FC Twente, Lille OSC and Real Oviedo.

He has represented Ghana at the U20 and U23 levels.
