Ivory Coast coach Patrice Beaumelle expects Ghana to come out with all guns blazing against his side on Saturday after the Black Stars were beaten by Morocco.

According to Beaumelle, Akonnor's side will be keen for a positive reaction after Tuesday's defeat in Rabat.

The Black Stars suffered a 1-0 defeat courtesy of a blunder by goalkeeper Razak Abalora who could be dropped for the Ivory Coast encounter at the Cape Coast Stadium.

Ivory Coast, on the other hand, were 2-1 victors when they met Burkina Faso in a friendly last Saturday.

“Some players did not have time to play on this stage against Burkina. It will be a question of rotating them (against Ghana).” Beaumelle said ahead of the Ghana clash.

“It will be a difficult match because I saw the Morocco-Ghana match (1-0). They will be keen to react. They will be at home. As I said, I wanted a home game and another away because you have to know how to travel to Africa.

Play outside in front of an audience that is not ours. I want to finish this internship. I want to continue to gain confidence. This group lives very well off the field, we feel that it is under construction. So we must continue and the positive results will allow us to move forward together.” he added.

Ghana and Ivory Coast, like many other African countries, have resulted to friendly matches to keep their teams active after Caf postponed World Cup qualifiers, initially scheduled to start this month, to September due to Covid.
