Ghana will be revitalized for Zambia clash- Appiah

Ghana have dismissed fatigue concerns ahead of their Africa Cup of Nations semi-final clash against Zambia on Wednesday in Bata.

The Black Stars were stretched to the limit before seeing off Tunisia in extra-time and will have only one day training for the match.

The pre-tournament favourites had travel from Franceville, Gabon to Equatorial Guinean city Bata, venue for the match.

Zambia on the other hand strolled to a 3-0 win over Sudan on Sunday and have had two days of preparation.

With the Copper Bullets looking to have an advantage of paper, Ghana assistant coach Kwesi Appiah says the team will be revitalized for tough match.

''The difficult part is that, most of our players have played about three-four games now and sometimes, it’s really difficult to get them to play at their maximum as you want in every game,'' Appiah said.

Ghana's beat Zambia 1-0 in the Group stage of the 1992 finals hosted by Senegal and lost by the same margin in the third-place play-off at the 1996 finals in South Africa.
