Ghana winger Andre Ayew is close to full recovery from a knee surgery as he begins serious ball-works with Olympique Marseille.

The 24-year-old has been sidelined since mid-November after undergoing a knee surgery following an injury he suffered while in action for Ghana in the 2014 World Cup qualifying play-off against Egypt.

Marseille are fluffing their lines during the absence of the Ghanaian talisman as they have suffered several defeats in the French domestic leagues.

However, Andre is expected to return to the action for Marseille in no time.
