Ghana winger Christopher Antwi-Adjei returns to Bochum training after injury recovery

Ghana forward Christopher Antwi-Adjei has started training after missing three weeks off action due to injury.

The VfL Bochum star trained individually on Monday before joined the rest of his teammates during the week as preparations begin for the visit of Werder Bremen this weekend.

Antwi-Adjei is expected to feature for the Bundesliga side as they seek to get their first win of the season against the returnees.

"It looked better than expected. Jimmy can get back into team training on Tuesday,” said manager Thomas Reiss.

Bochum have lost all four Bundesliga games this season and are rooted bottom of the table.

However, the winger's return is expected to boost their attack before they host Werder Bremen on Saturday.

Antwi-Adjei will be eyeing a place in Ghana coach Otto Addo's team for the World Cup in Qatar later this year.
