Ghana winger Christopher Antwi -Adjei has suffered a fresh injury ahead of the AFCON 2021 qualifiers against Sudan.

The Paderborn attacker suffered a thigh strain in his side's 2-1 defeat to FC Koln in the Bundesliga last Friday.

He was replaced after just 42 minutes by Gerrit Holtmann after he appeared to be in severe pains.

The German born Ghanaian will undergo further tests this week to determine the extent of his injury.

However, Ghana coach C.K Akonnor could be force to look for a replacement for the winger.

Antwi-Adjei made his debut for Ghana in the AFCON 2021 qualifier against Sao Tome and Principe last year and has just a cap for the West Africans.
