Ghana winger Edwin Gyasi climbed off the bench to play his first competitive game for Samsunspor in their defeat to Istanbulspor in the Turkish TF 1 on Saturday.
The 28-year-old replaced Guido Kocer in the 46th minute but could not stop the rampant visitors from beating Samsunspor 3-0 at their own backyard.
Eduart Rroca netted a second-half brace before Ghanaian forward Kamal Issah completed the scoring with a 90th-minute goal.
Gyasi's debut was delayed due to an injury he suffered during training.
But his return is seen as a boost for the club who are aiming to secure promotion to the top-flight.
The former Aeslund player joined the Turkish club from Bulgarian giants CSKA Sofia in the summer transfer window.
