Black Stars forward Ibrahim Osman is eager to make his UEFA Champions League debut as Feyenoord prepare to host German champions Bayer Leverkusen on Thursday, September 19, 2024.
The 19-year-old, who joined the Dutch giants on a season-long loan deal in the summer transfer window, made his debut for the club on Saturday in the Eredivisie game against Groningen.
The Ghana international's first game for the club was delayed due to documentation, taking a number of weeks for his paperwork to be completed.
Osman is part of the team set for the UEFA Champions League opener against Leverkusen on Thursday at De Kuip Stadium, having trained throughout the week with the squad.
It will also be the Right to Dream Academy graduate's first-ever game in the competition since moving to Europe in 2021.
The talented forward is expected to gain regular game time during his loan spell in the Netherlands before returning to England to rejoin Brighton next summer.
