Ghanaian winger Ibrahim Sadiq has been named in the Dutch Eredivisie Team of the Week following his starring role for AZ Alkmaar in their victory over Heerenveen.
The former Ghana U17 star scored and delivered a brace of assist as AZ thrashed their opponents 9-1 to record the biggest result in Europe over the weekend.
Sadiq was rated highly by football statistic firm Whoscored, responsible for producing the Team of the Week across Europe. The 24-year-old was scored 9.84, the second best in Holland over the weekend and was only beaten by teammate and quadruple scorer Troy Parrot, who had a perfect 10.
The talented Ghanaian forward is enjoying a blistering start to the new season, playing a key role in AZ's remarkable campaign.
He is joined by teammates Parrot, Seiya Maikuma, Sven Mijnans and Ruben van Bommel in the week five's team.
Groningen duo Marvin Peersman and Brynjolfur Willumsson Andersen also made the team alongside PSV's Olivier Boscagli and Ringo Meerveld of Willem II.
Sadiq was also named in the Team of the Week by Voetbal Zone and Voetbal Form.
