Black Stars forward, Joseph Paintsil has disclosed that his hamstring injury taught him a 'little lesson' following his return to action for LA Galaxy.
The former KRC Genk attacker has been in sensational form since making his injury comeback, propelling LA Galaxy to the top of the Western Conference table.
Painstil scored and delivered a brace of assists as the former MLS champions defeated Portland Timbers 3-2 over the weekend.
According to Paintsil, the injury that kept him out of Ghana's World Cup qualifiers in June offered him a good amount of rest.
“I think the injury that I had taught me a little lesson because then I needed to also relax myself because I was playing a whole lot of games, almost a half-season in Genk and I came to continue the following season here so I think it has also helped with the rest because if not, my body will be really down and maybe I can get multiple injuries. I am really good at the level that I am now," he said.
The pacy winger has already netted eight goals and delivered seven assists in the MLS this season.
