Ghanaian winger Kamaldeen Sulemana was introduced as a late substitute in Southampton's 1-1 draw against Brighton & Hove Albion on Friday night at the Amex Stadium.

The Black Stars forward was included in the Saints' matchday squad but started on the bench. Manager Russell Martin brought him on in the 88th minute to replace Cameron Archer, with the game evenly poised.

Kamaldeen Sulemana’s introduction added a burst of pace to Southampton’s attack as they pushed for a late winner. Despite his energy and effort, the match ended in a stalemate, with both teams sharing the spoils.

The game’s goals came from Brighton's Kaoru Mitoma in the first half and Southampton’s Flynn Downes in the second half.

This appearance marked Sulemana’s second Premier League outing of the 2024/25 season. The Ghanaian winger remains determined to secure more playing time as the campaign progresses.

He has been working hard and hopes to stay injury-free for the long run to make an impact for his team in their quest to compete and maintain their Premiership status at the end of the 2024/25 campaign.
