Rennes attacking midfielder Jonas Martins eulogised Kamaldeen Sulemana after the Ghanaian scored a stunning goal in their win 3-0 over Metz in French Ligue 1.

A few months after his arrival at Stade Rennais from FC Nordsjælland, attacking midfielder Kamaldeen Sulemana continues to impress Ligue 1.

Sulemana grabbed the second goal for Rennes in sensational fashion. He nutmegged his marker, before he raced into the area and poked a powerful shot into the roof of the net.

And after the game, Jonas Martin was full of praise for his 19-year-old teammate.

"Kamaldeen Sulemana is very talented. He is a player like there are not many in the teams. He is able to create situations on his own, there is no need for many people around him.

But victory is more of a collective that emerges. We are implementing a new complicated cycle with many matches, we must not relax, we must continue to work and keep this state of mind," he said in comments collected by Ouest-France.

Sunday's strike took Sulemana's tally to five goals in 13 games. He also has one assist so far this season.
