Ghana winger Samuel Owusu produced a majestic performance to help Al Fayha go top of the Saudi Pro League with victory over Al Ta'ee.

The 25-year-old was unplayable on Friday night, serving the assist for his side's second in the 3-1 victory on the road.

Romon Lopez gave the Oranges the lead from the spot after 37 minutes before Samuel Owusu's moment of brilliance opened up the Al Ta'ee defence as he laid the ball for Ahmed Bamsuad for Al Fayha's second on 40 minutes.

The hosts pulled one back through Zimbabwean forward Knowledge Musona on the stroke of half time.

Forward Malik Abdulmounam sealed victory with five minutes remaining as Al Fayha climbed to the top of the table.

Al Fayha have won two games and drawn just one in three matches in the new Saudi league season.

Samuel Owusu has been the club's talisman, as he continues to produce magic when needed.
