Fabulous Ladies captain Princess Owusu has picked up the golden boot after emerging as the top scorer in the just-ended 2021/22 Women's Premier League season.
Despite his team's failure to reach the Women's Premier League finals, Owusu had a fantastic season.
She contributed 18 goals, more than any other player in the previous season. The forward scored 15 goals and assisted on three others.
Owusu also won five most valuable player awards, the same as Stella Nyamekye of Dreams Ladies.
The top scorer of the @wplgh_official 2021-22 season is our Skipper, @Princes38960382. She scored 15 goals, provided 3 assists, and won 5 MVPs (joint with Stella) in 14 games she played. No player contributed more than her (18 goals contribution).

Ampem Darkoa Ladies won their first Women's Premier League title on Saturday, defeating Hasaacas Ladies in the final game at Accra Sports Stadium.
The Techiman-based team won the Women's Premier League on penalties, defeating Hasaacas Ladies 5-4.
Darkoa Ladies, will as a result represent Ghana in the 2022/23 CAF Women's Champions League qualifiers.
