Ghana World Cup midfielder Afriyie Acquah has given a hint of a future move to the English Premier League after admitting his desire to play in the English top-flight. 

The 22-year-old has recently signed a deal to enable him remain at Serie A giants Parma for the upcoming season following his successful return from German side TSG Hoffenheim.

Acquah, who played one game for Ghana at the 2014 World Cup after coming off the bench in Ghana's 2-1 loss against Portugal in the Group G final game, has confirmed his interest in playing in England.

“For me England is where I want to play my football. I want to play for one of the big clubs in England being it Chelsea, Manchester United or Arsenal. In fact any of the big clubs in the English premier league," he said on a Ghanaian celebrity show.

The former Palermo midfielder, who has been dubbed the next Essien, has been scouted been scouted by Arsenal in the past.
