Elche CF manager Fran Escribá is set to draft Ghana youth midfielder Michael Anaba into first team squad for the upcoming 2014/15 season as he is impressing on pre-season.

The 2013 Ghana U20 midfielder, 20, dazzled in midfield for the Los Franjiverdes at the Estadio Manolo Macia in Campoamor, setting up Jesús Tamayo with a delightful through-pass as he scored the goal that separated the two side in the second-half of the tie as they beat C D Eldense 2-0, 1-0 in either halve.

Anaba joined the Spanish La Liga side after helping Ghana win bronze at the 2013 FIFA U20 World Cup and managed to break into the Elche first team on a couple of occasions but could not make a La Liga debut on is first season.

However, with the performance put on in pre-season, he is likely to be drafted into the Elche first team squad as his impressive ball-winning and holding abilities is priced by the first team manager.
