Former Ghana Under-17 star Sadick Adams has donated items worth US$ 1,000 to inmates at the Compassion is Love Orphanarge home at Yawhima in the Sunyani West Municipality.

The donation forms part of activities by the former Etoile Du Sahel and Atletico Madrid player to give back to the society.

Prior to that, there was a charity football match which brought together almost the entire the 2007 FIFA U-17 World Cup semi-final team in South Korea.

Sadick told GHANASoccernet: "It feels very sad to see some of these children roam about on the street just because they cannot even get something to eat when there is food in abundance elsewhere."

He added that: "I can say that I was like most of these children but through Allah I got to where I am now.

"But I don’t have to wait till I get what I wish for before I start doing charity so this is just a token from me and it will continue every other year.''

The 22-year-old, recognized by World magazine as one of the 50 Most Exciting Teenagers on the planet in 2007, is on loan with Saudi Arabian club Al Ansar from Etoile Du Sahel.
