Elche midfielder Michael Anaba admits he’s still developing as a player and not obsessed about breaking into the first team of the Spanish side.
The former Kotoko combative midfielder is yet to break into the first team – but has become a constant feature for the youth side.
Elche manager Fran Escriba is keeping a close eye on the progress of the Ghana youth international, who is making waves at the youth side.
The ex-Kotoko combative enforcer is determined to work on all areas of his game to break into the senior team.
“I am learning all the time. It’s a learning curve for me and so I’m really enjoying my time here,†he told GHANAsoccernet.com
“Here in Spain, it’s more of a passing game where you have to run and work your sucks out a lot.
“Obviously it’s a bit different from my time at Kotoko but I’m adjusting well.
“I know it’s just a matter of time before I make my senior debut.
‘I always say I am learning. Every day, I want to train and I want to learn. That’s all I want to do.
‘I just want to be a better player and give everything for this club.’
The 19-year-old has been an important piece for the youth side since he joined at the start of the season.
