Germany youth international Ansgar Knauff enjoyed a memorable afternoon as he scored first time for Eintracht Frankfurt who beat Hertha Berlin convincingly away from home.

Knauff, who is of Ghanaian descent, opened the scoring in the 17th minute with a fantastic header after getting on the end of Filip Kostic’s cross.

Frankfurt went on to win 4-1 with the youngster visibly pleased with his display and goal in what was his second start since he arrived at the club.

The 20-year-old joined from Borussia Dortmund on an 18-month loan deal in January.

Knauff continued to cause problems to the Hertha defence even after his goal. He helped make the second goal happen with a dangerous cross into the box.

The loan deal will expire on June 2023.
