Ghanaian Benjamin Essel has signed a contract with Austrian third-tier club FC Mauerwerk.
Ghanasoccernet.com understands the left-back has signed a two-year contract after agreeing to the terms by the club.
It is worth noting that Essel joined as a free agent because he was not contracted to any club when Mauerwerk approached him.
He parted ways with Maltese club Naxxar Lions FC at the end of last season.
He previously played for Modena Calcio, Silema Wanderers and a host of other clubs.
