Ghanaian teenager Brian Amofa has joined Swiss Super League FC Sion on a free transfer for five years.
The 19-year-old refused a contract extension at French third-tier side his contract at Racing Strassbourg.
There was interest from French sides Lorient and Dijon but the defensive midfielder was convinced by Sion officials.
He was injured for most part of last season and therefore made only two appearances in the Championnat National.
FC Sion will play Scottish side Celtic in the Uefa Europa League play-off.Â
