Two US-based Ghanaian community teams raised US$ 5,000 in a charity match organized by NGO Walk2Learn International.

Bosingwa FC from Maryland defeated Baltimore Stars 4-1 in a highly patronized maiden event.

The amount raised will be used to help needy children and homeless kids in Ghana and Africa.

The donations realized will help the organization in their free educational resources distribution to three selected schools in the Tema Metropolis area this September.

The Chief Operations Officer of Walk2Learn Kingsley Asiedu and the Founder Kwame Boakye Gyan were excited about the huge attendance and expressed optimism that their next event scheduled sometime in August this year will be even bigger and better organized.
