French born Ghanaian defender Dennis Appiah has revealed that he 'wouldn't mind'ending his career at FC Nantes as long as he has the 'desire.'
The 28-year old joined the Yellow Canaries on a four year deal last summer from Belgium giants Anderlecht, but his first campaign was marred with inconsistent form and the cancellation of the season due to COVID-19.
With three years remaining on his current deal, the right back wants to enjoy his time in France and adds he won't hesitate finishing his career at the club.
"I know very well that in football, nothing is ever acquired or fixed. If I signed four years, it is not for nothing either, it is to seek a certain stability. Then we'll see how it goes and how the next season is going. Since I started my career," he told France Bleu Loire oCEAN.
"I have been doing three-year cycles, I have stayed at least three years in each club and maybe this will also be the case here too. I'm not necessarily trying to move as quickly as possible.
He continued: "The players who do this seize opportunities, after each makes their choices. As long as it goes well, I progress and I touch on new things every time, I don't feel the need to leave.
"On the other hand, if I see that I am no longer progressing, that I am stagnating or that I no longer have the desire, it is at this point that I begin to look elsewhere. But I wouldn't mind finishing in a club like FC Nantes, FC Nantes is a big club."
