Hamburger SV coach Dieter Hecking has assured fans the injury sustained by his trusted right-back Jan Gyamerah in the past weekend's clash against Heidenheim was nothing serious.

Gyamerah, who was making his first start after a recovering from a long injury layoff picked up the knock and had to be substituted before the 60th minute.

According to Hecking, he was taken off as precautionary and that he will be fit for the next assignment against SV Sandhausen in the 2. Bundesliga on Sunday.

"It was a full-body cramp," joked Dieter Hecking the following day, but gave the all-clear: "It will not mean that he cannot play against Sandhausen. He now has the necessary lightness.

"The point now is to see who is ready and able to withstand the pressure," said the trainer. Gyamerah is in the front row in this regard.

It is a must-win game for Hamburger as they seek qualification to the German top-flight.
