Ghanaian defender Lawrence Lartey will mark his debut for Ajax Cape Town on January 8 once he secures his work permit.
Officials of the South African side have working around the clock to get the paperwork of their new recruit ready in time ahead of their clash against Bloemfontein Celtic.
The 23-year-old has been holding out training sessions with the side since joining last month.
The former Ashantigold strong centre-back is expected to provide shield at the back for the Urban Warriors.
He has signed a two-year deal with the side.
