Zambian club Indeni FC have terminated the contract of Ghanaian defender Shawn Oduro by mutual agreement.

The 24-year-old joined the Ndola based club in October 2020 but only made five appearances for the Zambia top-flight side in the 2020/2021 season.

"I left Indeni FC based on a mutual agreement with the management. The club did not go according to the initial agreement made between us," Shawn said.

"There were a lot of things happening which I have endured for a while since signing for the club just because I wanted to do my best in the projection of the club.

"I had to come to agreement with club for my progress which fell short with Indeni. I wish them well in the league and good future for us all." he concluded.

Oduro captained Real Nakonde in the Zambia Premier League in the 2016/2017 season before joining Napsa Stars, Gomis and recently Indeni.
