Promising Ghanaian attacker Francis Atuahene is confident of making a huge impact at FC Dallas when the new Major League Soccer gets underway in March.

Atuahene spent last season on loan at USL side OKC Energy and was reduced to just eight appearances due to injuries.

He scored two goals as OKC finished 10th in the Western Conference with 43 points.

"Last year I struggled with a lot of injuries, had lot surgeries. But I am very healthy now, "Atuahene told reporters during his visit in his native country.

"I am going back to the US on Monday to start pre-season.

"My goal is to stay injury free, break into the first team and make an immediate impact."

Atuahene, a product of Right to Dream Academy signed for FC Dallas last year.
