Ghanaian forward Francis Kyeremeh scores in Zalgiris Champions League game against Bodo/Glimt

Ghanaian forward Francis Kyeremeh scored in Zalgiris 1-1 draw against Bodo/Glimt in the third qualifying round of the Champions League on Wednesday.

The Lithuanian side have been eliminated from the Champions League qualifiers on a 6-1 aggregate after losing to the Norwegian team.

Bodø/Glimt eliminated the Vilnius club in European competition for the third season in a row.

Zalgiris showed an improved performance in the second leg at home after losing 5-0 in the first leg a week ago.

Francis Kyeremeh even managed to give his team the lead in the 39th minute, but then came the 59th minute equalizer from Joel Mugisha for Bodo/Glimt.

Despite the loss to the Norwegians, "Žalgiris" will continue their journey in Europe  and will continue to compete in the "play-off" stage of the Europa League.
