Ghanaian forward Isaac Kwame Essel joins Indian side Sudeva Delhi FC

Ghanaian forward Isaac Kwame Essel has joined Indian side Sudeva Delhi Football Club on a two-year contract.

The 22-year-old joins Sudeva as a free agent after leaving Philippines side Maharlika.

He joined Maharlika in early July 2022 but opted to exit having enjoyed just three games with them.

Kwame Essel have previously had a stint at Cebu Football Club.

Sudeva Delhi Football Club is an Indian professional football club based in Delhi, that competes in I-League, the second tier of Indian football league system.

It was founded as Sudeva Moonlight FC in 2014, the club is affiliated with Football Delhi (formerly Delhi Soccer Association), and also participate in Delhi Premier League. Sudeva joined I-League in the 2020–21 season and became the first club from the capital to do so.

They finished last season 11th on the log in a 13-club league.
