Ghanaian forward Justin Shaibu has completed a transfer to Danish First Division side FC Fredericia.

Shaibu, who had been handed a one-year deal, had been on trial training at the club for the last few days.

The 22-year-old joins as a free agent after his contract with English side Brentford expired this summer.

He could not his delight after appending his signature on the contract.

"Now I have been with the squad for a few days and I am really happy to have to continue with it. I really appreciate the opportunity, and will do my best to pay back and prove myself,'' says Justin Shaibu to the Club's official website

FC Fredericia sporting director Stig Pederson also added: ''We have been looking for an extra striker to strengthen the width of our squad, and we have now found him in Justin Shaibu,'' Pedersen said to the same club's forum.

Before his four-year romance with Brentford FC came to an end this term, Shaibu had had loan spells with  Walsall FC and Boreham Wood FC respectively.

The Copenhagen-born forward is still eligible to play for Ghana at the international stage despite featuring for the Denmark U17, U18 and U20 national teams.
