Ghanaian forward Kelvin Ofori confirms departure from German side Fortuna Dusseldorf

Ghanaian youngster Kelvin Ofori has confirmed his departure from Fortuna Dusseldorf after two years. 

His likely destination is Dusseldorf's Bundesliga II rivals SC Paderborn, Ghanasoccernet.com understands. 

"As my time at Fortuna Düsseldorf comes to an end, I would like to thank the fans, my teammates, and my coaches for giving me an opportunity to play the game I love at the highest level.

"I am very grateful for the time spent together and I’m truly grateful for Fortuna Dusseldorf for giving me my first professional contract. Wishing the whole team best of luck for the season," he posted on Instagram, Tuesday evening.

Ofori joined Dusseldorf when he was just 19 from the famous Right to Dream Academy.

He has played a total of 27 games in the past two seasons, including two Bundesliga appearances.

And has scored four goals and assisted one goal.
