Ghanaian forward Kevin-Prince Boateng has rejected offers to play in the United States of America as he wants to continue his career in Europe.

According to reports in Italy, there have been several offers from the Major League Soccer but Boateng is not interested and has turned them down.

The 33-year-old is on the verge of leaving Fiorentina ahead of the new season. The Serie A club wants is to get rid of redundant players and Boateng is said to be one of them.

Boateng is not in the club's plans for next season, having returned to the club after spending the second half on loan at Besiktas.

After scoring three goals in 11 games, Besiktas wanted to keep him but could not meet his demands.

Boateng is currently in pre-season with Fiorentina but it is unlikely he will stay at the club.

He joined Fiorentina on a two-year deal last summer from Sassuolo.
