Ghanaian youth striker Kwame Amponsah-Karikari has expressed delight over Richard Kingson's move to join him at Turkish second-tier side Balikesirspor.

The 35-year-old experienced shot-stopper cancelled his contract with Cypriot side Doxa to return to Turkey on a six-month deal on Thursday to help Bal?kesirspor push for promotion into the Turkish top-flight.

And Karikari who is at the club as a loanee from Swedish giants AIK Solna is delighted with the experience former Black Stars first-choice goalkeeper brings on board.

"He is a big keeper with enormous experience both from national team and club football. He has played here for a very long time and knows the terrain very well so he will help us fight hard for the promotion," he told GHANAsoccernet.com.

Bal?kesirspor's Â promotion ambitions has largely depended on Karikari who has contributed nine goals since joining them in August and is hoping to do more.
