Ghanaian striker Kwame Kizito has returned from injury after eleven months on the sidelines to feature in Falkenbergs' superettan league clash with Landskrona BoIS.

The former Hearts of Oak attacker suffered a career threatening injury in June 2020 ruling him out for almost a year.

However, the 24-year-old made his comeback in the match against Landskrona, replacing Mathew Garbett in the 82nd minute as they suffered a 2-1 defeat at the Landskrona Stadium.

Falkenbergs took an early second-half through Christoffer Carlson but the home side leveled in the 77th minute through Alexander Tkacz.

Landskrona forward Links Olsson grabbed the winner with five minutes left.

Kizito was making his first appearance of the season after fully recovering from the injury setback.

He joined the Swedish second tier side from BK Hacken in 2020.
