Ghanaian forward Latif Blessing 'focused and ready' for new MLS season

Forward Latif Blessing has revealed his ambitions for the upcoming Major League Soccer season.

The former Liberty Professionals playmaker has promised to score and create more goals for California based Los Angeles FC

Blessing struggled last season following switch in positions and family issues but has promised to bounce back in the new campaign.

“Things changed for me, last year, I had a little bit of a thing between me and my family. But I set it up, so now, this year I’m going to do [my] best,” Blessing told reporters after Saturday’s 3-3 preseason draw against the New England Revolution.

“So when I come back from the offseason, I said to myself, ‘I can keep going’ you know? Last year, I didn’t do [my] best, this year I have to do [my] best. So I think this year I’m ready.”

“I said to myself, this year I need to score more goals. I think it’s going to come. When I start scoring goals, it keeps coming and coming.”
